This course gave me great insight into human behavior in such a practical way. The textbook material was excellent and very detailed. The class instruction was a plus to the written material. The handout added even more resource information to refer back to. I now feel better equipped to counsel persons who come to me for help.
I now have a spiritual yet scientific approach to counseling. This methodical approach is going to release many stressful situations in my counslee's lives. It is a blessing when people can better understand and others with whom they interact. I would recommend this course to other pastors and counselors.
This course came at a time in my life when I really needed it. I always wanted to offer the Lord's people the best of my service and now not only am I more tolerant of their behavior, but I am more aware of my own strengths and weaknesses. Answer the Call and then Keep the Faith!
I am a living testimony of how God will provide if you just keep the Faith. Like may others I lived a life of chaos and confusion until God brought me out and into His wonderful light. It was after this and during my journey that it became clear to me that God called me to use the once tangled threads of my life to bless others by helping them to untangle the threaded snarls of their lives...(Help the hurting through wise counsel). But I then asked the Lord "How will this be" I am just an ordinary person with limited resources and little time to prepare for this work you have called me to. But it was by faith that Agape Christian Counseling Center came to Atlanta. Their program was exactly what I needed, it is God Centered/Christian based, affordable, local and in line with the Word of God and the teaching vision of my church. God provided me a vehicle to which on a six month fast track program I could earn a creditable license to provide Pastoral Counseling to our community.
Thanks to the training I received from Agape I am now able to step into my destiny and purpose....Helping the Hurting to Heal.
