Psy. 603 : Creation Therapy: Is a Biblically based Counseling Model developed by Dr's Richard & Phyllis Arno of the National Christian Counselors Association.
This Cognitive / Behavioral approach to counseling is integrated into a biblical understanding. A Lab experience is provided for each student doing Independent Home Study or Online training.Creation Therapy is a Cognitive/Behavioral Counseling Model based on the principles of Temperament Theory & Temperament Therapy.
Counselors, Clergy, and Lay people who complete Creation Therapy will:
1. LEARN what causes relationship conflicts and how to resolve them
2. LEARN the secrets of human behavior and how God's wonderful plan works when understood and applied.
3. LEARN a very successful five-step method of counseling those who turn to them for help.
4. Administer the Arno Profile System, which identifies an individual's inborn Temperament rather than their behavior. This information helps the counselor identify core problems, and aid the counselee in problem resolution.
5. You Qualify to become an International Representative for the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling, you can the market the APS Software/Creation Therapy/The missing link, and receive income.
You can choose to take Creation Therapy as a Single Certificate Course. or: You can elect to continue your training through on-line/home study to become a NCCA Licensed Pastoral Counselor
